Tour Details

While most of Damavand tour operators consider Damavand midway camp (Bargah sevvom) as the acclimatization program, our guide team decided to plan a better enjoyable program at Tochal, the roof of Tehran.
Climbing to Tochal peak will be performed by cable-car and only we have the last 300m trekking climb, because this acclimatization program should not be tiring before Damavand.
The tour starts at the early morning of the first day and ends in the afternoon of the forth day.
We’ve selected best of climbing guides for this program because only a highly professional guide should accompany you in Damavand climb.
We choose the best restaurants when we are down in the city and nutritious meals during the climb.
Finally, we tried to have a very enjoyable plan for you, by the hope of offering us to your friends.

*Note: The bad weather condition problem may happen in the program unexpectedly. In this case, we change our plan to Azadkooh peak(height 4355m) or Kulunbastak(height 4200m) based on the group preferences.

We do our best to serve you by our catering services. Delicious,nutritious and healthy foods will be served during your sportive trip.

Normal local guides and professionals are very different in their prices and quality.The guide cost is the main part of the total cost, but we decided to use the bests of Iran, as we are sports people and we know the difference.

Itinerary

Day 1Tochal summit

Transfer from IKA at 07:00am (so your flight should be landed at least 2 hours before)
If you are already in Tehran our transfer service will pick you up at 08:00am
Transfer to Tochal first station (estimated time 1 hour)
Transfer to the fifth station by the cable car(estimated time 30 minutes)
Staying at Fifth station for 1 hour
Transfer to the seventh station by the cable car(estimated time 30 minutes)
Lunch at Tochal hotel (the highest elevation hotel in the middle east)
Climbing to the summit at 03:00pm (estimated time 2 hours)
Descending from the summit and climbing to Shahneshin summit (estimated time 2 hours)
Descending from the summit toward the hotel (estimated time 1 hour)
Dinner at the hotel’s restaurant
Stay overnight in Tochal hotel

Day 2Mount Damavand - first day

Wake-up at 07:00am
Breakfast serves until 08:00am at hotel
Transfer to the first station by the cable car (estimated time 1 hour)
Transfer to Polour (estimated time 3 hours)
Transfer to Goosfandsara by a 4WD car (approximately 2 hours)
Trekking to Bargahsevvom (estimated time 5 hours)
Lunch – Having a sandwich in the way
Dinner at the camp
Stay overnight in the camp

Day 3Mount Damavand - The goal day

Wake-up at 03:00am
Meal serves as a light weight backpacking food
Climbing to the summit at 04:00am (estimated time 8 hours)
Staying at the summit for 1 hour
Descending to the camp (approximately 4 hours)
Dinner at the camp
Stay overnight in the camp

Day 4Descent and transfer to IKA airport

Wake-up at 07:00am
Breakfast serves until 08:00am
Trekking down to Goosfandsara (estimated time 3 hours)
Transfer to Polour by a 4WD car(estimated time 2 hours)
