Tour Details

Filband, A Midnight Dream
Filband is one of the highest bungalows in Mazandaran province, located in south Babol in western Bandpey (Diva village). Where, like a white giant, Damavand Peak is watching you all the time. In the spring and fall in a half-day, you may see all-weather phenomena, such as clouds, fog, rain, snow, hail, sudden rainbows and sunshine. It like a midnight dream and the spirit of this place could challenge every human being.
Winter begins early in Filband and ends late, with snow covered for nearly seven months and overwhelming cold everywhere. The village is almost uninhabited in the winter due to snowfall and outages, but with the onset of spring and the influx of edible plants, life and enthusiasm return to the area again.
The closest connection to Filband is by the main winding road from Filband to the Haraz road, after crossing the historic and beautiful Sengchal Village to Filband. A beautiful and rural village called Sengchal where there are no double-glazed windows that silence the birds and now we are heading to Alimistan, which is known as green gold in Iran.
Alimistan, the Green Gold
By passing through the rangelands, the forests of Alimistan appear. Alimistan is one of the tourist areas of Iran in Amol, where many young people take tours and travel to Alimistan’s nature. This area attracts both foreign and domestic photographers. The pristine beauty of the forests and rangelands and its vegetable head are indescribable; high altitude forest, low temperature in the warm season and abundant springs and diverse forest cover, plains and clear water and beautiful horses are characteristics of this forest. Its water comes from springs and its products are cereals, dairy and honey. But after all, Alimistan Peak is another attraction.
Alimistan Peak, which attracts many mountaineers in winter and spring, and along the entire eastern slope route, Damavand Peak is in front of your eyes. The Rostam Foot area also attracts climbers. There are two large meteors that have created deep holes; a fascinating legend that the locals have in relation to these holes is that these pits are the place of the Rostam’s (legendry Persian Hero) knees that kneel in the area and drink from seawater.
