Tour Details

Specially Damavand is the top of Iran peaks and Alamkooh is the hardest peak in Iran and only professional mountain climbers can climb these peaks.

Although Sabalan’s height is as same as Alamkooh,but climbing of Sabalan is much easier than Alamkooh. We consider Tochal for recovery after a hard climb of Alamkooh and acclimatization before Damavand.

We try to introduce you a cultural aspect as well as a trekking in the nature in this journey.
Summary, we tried to have a very enjoyable plan for you, by the hope of offering us to your friends.

*Note: The bad weather condition problem may happen in the program unexpectedly. In this case, we change our plan to Azadkooh peak(height 4355m) or Kulunbastak(height 4200m) based on the group preferences.

What to Expect

It is our mission to take you to three summits of Iran to make you ready to climb Damavand the highest conical volcano in the world.

We do our best to serve you by our catering services. Delicious,nutritious and healthy foods will be served during your sportive trip.

Normal local guides and professionals are very different in their prices and quality.The guide cost is the main part of the total cost, but we decided to use the bests of Iran, as we are sports people and we know the difference.

Itinerary

Day 1Transfer to Sabalan camp

Transfer from IKA at 06:00am (so your flight should be landed at least 2 hours before)
If you are already in Tehran our transfer service will pick you up at 07:00am anywhere in Tehran
Transfer to Meshkinshahr (estimated time 11 hours including stopovers and lunch)
Breakfast at AftabSahra restaurant in Qazvin
Lunch at Dizisara Shekhsafi restaurant in Ardebil
Transfer to eastern camp by 4WD vehicle (estimated time 1 hour)
Dinner in the camp
Stay overnight in the camp

Day 2Sabalan summit day

Wake-up at 04:30am
Breakfast serves as a light weight backpacking food
Climbing to the summit (approximately 6 hours)
Stay at the summit beside the pond for 1 hour
Coming down from the summit (estimated time 3 hours)
Lunch will be served in Dorna Camp hotel at 03:00pm
Transfer to Meshkinshahr by 4WD vehicle (estimated time 2 hours)

Day 3Transfer to Javaherdasht

Transfer to Javaherdasht (approximately 3 hours by vehicle plus 1 hour by 4WD vehicle)

Day 4Samamoos hillside

Wake-up at 07:00am
Breakfast serves until 08:00am
Trekking toward Samamoos hillside for 3 hours
Staying 1 hour for acclimatization
Descending to the camp(estimated time 1.5 hour)
Lunch at the camp
Transfer to Kelardasht at 02:00pm (estimated time 4 hours)
Eating ice-cream and sweets at Kaka confectionery
Dinner serves as a local food
Stay overnight in the local house

Day 5Alamkooh - first day

Wake-up at 07:00am
A very special Iranian breakfast(Kalle Pache) serves at Narenj restaurant in Kelardasht
Transfer to Tangegaloo by 4WD vehicle (estimated time 2 hours)
Trekking to Hesarchal (estimated time 3 hours)
Lunch and dinner at the camp

Day 6Alamkooh - second day

Day 8Tochal summit

Wake-up at 07:00am
Breakfast serves until 08:00am at the hotel
Transfer to Tochal first station (estimated time 1 hour)
Transfer to the fifth station by the cable car(estimated time 30 minutes)
Staying at Fifth station for 1 hour
Transfer to the seventh station by the cable car(estimated time 30 minutes)
Lunch at Tochal hotel (the highest elevation hotel in the middle east)
Climbing to the summit at 03:00pm (estimated time 2 hours)
Descending from the summit and climbing to Shahneshin summit (estimated time 2 hours)
Descending from the summit toward the hotel (estimated time 1 hour)
Dinner at the hotel’s restaurant

Day 10Mount Damavand - The goal day
