As there is no acclimatization predicted for this program, it is highly necessary to be acclimatized in Iran or your home country for such a climb to more than 5600m.

Tour Details

The tour starts at the early morning of the first day and ends at midnight of second day.
We’ve selected best of climbing guides for this program because only a highly professional guide should accompany you in this hard tour.
We choose the best restaurants when we are down in the city and nutritious meals during the climb.
Finally, we tried to have a very enjoyable plan for you, by the hope of offering us to your friends.

*Note: The bad weather condition problem may happen in the program unexpectedly. In this case, we change our plan to Azadkooh peak(height 4355m) or Kulunbastak(height 4200m) based on the group preferences.

What to Expect

Normal local guides and professionals are very different in their prices and quality.The guide cost is the main part of the total cost, but we decided to use the bests of Iran, as we are sports people and we know the difference.

Itinerary

Day 1Mount Damavand - Summit day

Transfer from IKA at 06:00am (so your flight should be landed at least 2 hours before)
If you are already in Tehran our transfer service will pick you up at 07:00am
Transfer to Polour by car (estimated time 3 hours)
Transfer to Goosfandsara by 4WD (approximately 2 hours)
Trekking to Bargahsevom (estimated time 5 hours)
Lunch – Having a sandwich in the way
Dinner at the camp
Stay overnight in the camp
Climbing to Bargahsevom

Day 2Descent and transfer to IKA

Wake-up at 03:00am
Meal serves as light weight backpacking food
Climbing to the summit at 04:00am (estimated time 8 hours)
Staying at the summit for 1 hour
Descending to the camp (approximately 4 hours)
Staying at the camp for 1 hour
Trekking down to Goosfandsara at 06:00pm (estimated time 3 hours)
Transfer to Polour by 4WD (estimated time 2 hours)
Transfer to IKA airport at 11:00pm (estimated time 4 hours)
Dinner at the airport (Burger land the best restaurant in IKA airport)
Returning airline ticket must be after 05:00am next day
